It calls for discipline but it’s absolutely fun

It’s 5 a.m. Outside, it’s dark and quiet, the silence lifted with the occasional hoot of the owl or the metallic clink of the fruit bats. A few stars still twinkle through the canopy of the garden trees. The air is clean and crisp, perfect for the morning meditation.
For the next 20 minutes, l’m focused on my breathing and just being in the moment. Then l get into the morning stretches and by 6, l’m all limbered up. But l won’t hasten out of bed till it’s light.
