I’ve registered for the Lewa Safari Marathon 2020 for the 5km walk – which is around my home on 27 June 2020. In these Covid-19 days this is a virtual run with our superstar, Eluid Kipchoge, Marathon World Record Holder and Lewa Ambassador.
It’s given me a new sprint in my step to walk towards supporting the many rangers who risk their lives to protect our amazing wildlife.
The least l can do is – walk towards that.
Lewa Conservancy is a trendsetter and has many community wildlife conservancies in northern Kenya providing the critical infrastructure and human resource to run wildlife conservancies.
So join me.
Because if l can do it, so can you.

Walking is good because:
It’s low-impact, gets your blood circulating, healthy, free and burns calories while strengthening muscles and bones.
1 km = 1,250 to 1,550 walking steps.
